the artist

Wonder, was Picasso or Cartier Bresson concerned about the money they were making out of their work ? Or passion and love for what they did that truly excited them? In today's today world, the challenges of buying expensive gear, model fees and loads of other items makes the work of an artist a capital intensive one. However at the end of the day, is one judged by the money he has as an "artist" or the creative and unique images he or she produces? Passion and creativity drives an artist to excel in in he or she does and not be mediocre and contented because of money that's been made.
